The good news is that there's a raft of different activities now online that you can get involved with and keep up your connection with the region!
We thought it would be ideal to start with the great news that Alex and the team at Collector Wines are offering online wine tastings!
They were just last month awarded "Star Cellar Door and Best Small Cellar Door" in the Gourmet Traveller Wine - Australia's Best Cellar Door Awards 2020 for the Canberra District.
This is the second Best Small Cellar Door Award for Alex with the operation picking up the same award in 2017.
Jump on their Facebook page and listen to Alex talk you through the finer points of his creations - we suggest you grab a bottle so you can taste along as he talks!
The cellar door is not open now but you can still purchase product online or through independent liquor outlets.
The Collector Wines team are not the only ones providing virtual experiences as you will have seen from the very successful online Gunning Arts Festival last weekend.

The committee and contributors worked very hard to bring as much of the festival as possible into the digital realm with a full program available, from book readings to online exhibitions and music performances, and a lot of it is still available at www.gunningartsfestival.com.
A fantastic effort and just a taster of what will be enjoyed at future "physical" festivals.
We also recommend you check out the following virtual experiences -
- Helen Stephens Gallery - virtual art appreciation on Facebook
- The Picture House Gallery and Bookstore - a range of great videos on Facebook
- Crystal Brook Gardens and Lavender Farm - daily updates on farm life in isolation on Facebook
- Crookwell Potato Festival - keep an eye out for potato related events on their Facebook and Instagram pages this month
- Australian Agricultural Centre Ag Bake Off - bake a cake of your favourite farm animal, fruit or vegetable and win! Details at www.australianagriculturalcentre.com.
Enjoying Local Upper Lachlan Produce
