And it's safe to say some of us have had enough of ideas for "here's 20 more things to do online instead of in person". It's never the same as being out in the fresh air, right? After weeks at home, often indoors, people are missing the real, the tactile, the different, the olfactory.
So the idea of doing "virtual bushwalks" may cause more tedium than inspiration, at first count.
But look a little closer at the virtual trekking developed by Google and the NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service, and there are some amazing sights which you may never have seen before.
"In partnership with Google, NPWS rangers and staff hit the tracks and trails in mountain, coastline and outback areas across the state to capture more than 1350km of imagery and footage in over 50 NSW national parks using Google's special backpack-mounted trekker," a statement from NSW National Parks said.
Some of the highlights on "Google trekker" include the Walls of China in Mungo National Park, the Jillabenan Caves in Koscuiszko National Park and the Breadknife and Grand High Tops walking track in Waaumbungle National Park.
Sure, it may not be a complete substitute for the smell of eucalyptus in your nose or the rush of mountain air in your face, but there are some incredible scenes to witness - and help you plan your next trip away once the restrictions are lifted.
