A spokesperson for the Goulburn RSL Sub-Branch said, "due to Covid-19 restrictions, we will not be holding an official Remembrance Day service for our inability to be able to implement a Covid-19 safety plan."
However, there are alternative ways to commemorate this important day and to honour past and currently serving Australians.
This year, the RSL NSW Branch has moved Remembrance Day traditions online.
For the first time in 99 years, the traditional Poppy Appeal has moved online, while services, including the Sydney Cenotaph at Martin Place, will be streamed via the RSL NSW Facebook page and the NSW Government.
