This month's Goulburn Small Bore Rifle Club championship shoot was the last one for this year, with the results added to all previous month's results to give us the grade champions for each discipline. The winners of each grade will then shoot against each other to find the 2021 Club Champion.

On Sunday, November 21, the seventh competitive shoot for this year was held.
The day was a very cool day with plenty of cloud cover. The wind conditions were good, with some little gusts thrown in here and there. The breeze was also very tricky, but there were times that the flags were still enough to get a few shots off.
We had seven shooters on Sunday with Richard Brodie shooting both bench rest and prone.
Scores for the competitors were:
- Richard Brodie - bench rest, 200 with 15 centrals
- Rob Eager - bench rest, 199 with 16 centrals
- Kylie Watts - bench rest, 199 with 15 centrals
- Tony Weston - bench rest, 198 with 17 centrals
- Charlie Watts - bench rest, 198 with 15 centrals
- Ivan Wilson - bench rest, 196 with 15 centrals
- Richard Brodie - prone, 194 with 11 centrals
- David Wright - prone, 191 with six centrals
This was some excellent shooting, and excellent scores. The best score that can be shot is 200 with 20 centrals.
This a year has also been a challenge with COVID, but the club has implemented a COVID plan which kept all members safe.
Please feel free to come along and have a shoot or just come and see what smallbore rifle shooting is all about. Please note that all visitors must sign in using the Service NSW QR code and must be fully vaccinated.
