A performance at St Saviour’s Cathedral Hall will take place this afternoon, Sunday, February 26, from 3pm.
This comes after Saturday’s workshop for strings, percussion and voice at Goulburn North Public School.
The eleven-piece orchestra comprises musicians of diverse cultural and religious backgrounds who demonstrate and affirm the power of collaboration and respect for diversity through music and performance.
Music will be performed in diverse languages drawn from ancient and contemporary traditions; from the sacred to pop fusion.
Richard Petkovic, Sydney World Music Chamber Orchestra music director, said: “Our music showcases the future of Australian music by combining our many cultures into music that touches the spirit.”
Tickets: $20 general admission, $15 concession and chidren 12 and under, free.
