“It was absolutely amazing. Much bigger, much more better, much more fantastic,” library manager Erin Williams said.
Scheduled to open at 11am, she said doors about 30 minutes earlier due to the crowd outside waiting to enter.
“We’re definitely doing it again.”
Due to the weather, Pictures and Popcorn in the Park was set up in the Veolia Arena, with last minute changes made public on Friday.
Goulburn Mulwaree Council marketing, events and culture Sarah Ruberto said the estimated 400 people was lower than usual, but due to location changes, was not unexpected.
“The council acknowledges the community support and despite the change of location it’s still an event the community gets behind,” Ms Ruberto said.
“Everyone had a good time and that’s the main thing.”
