Lock in Sunday, August 20 to be a car-boot seller at our popular quarterly community event – vendors should contact Judy on 0408 49 0252 or Dawn 0409 95 3859.
On Saturday, May 27 the Jaguar Drivers Club of Australia chose Riversdale as their lunchtime stopover midway through their annual Rally of the South event.
Over 50 vintage cars revved into the site and our gardens, with around 90 people refuelling with a hearty lunch of soup, sandwich and specials prepared by our volunteers. These events are a great way of driving support for our local heritage and clutch a few extra dollars for preservation works. Turn your group’s ignition if your group may like the same opportunity!

Our medlar tree planted in the 1840s has allowed us to create jars of Medlar Jelly and Chutney alongside our jams, conserves and pickles. Drop by now to purchase and take a tour of the gardens!
Shop local for special gifts: After several weeks of effort the gift shop has been revamped!
Why not drop by and check out books, treats, plants, luxury and home items for everyone – even Miss Mollie’s Lollies. Don’t forget Fathers’ Day coming up! Every sale helps us keep Riversdale thriving.
Gardeners Heaven – the sturdy team of volunteers continue to literally keep Riversdale alive. Weekly working bees have bundles of jobs to do – whether picking fruit from trees planted in the 1840s, preparing the soil for spring crops or preparing plants for sale.
