‘Twas the season for Christmas babies in December 2017, and the Goulburn Base Hospital welcomed four new arrivals into three families less than a week before the most festive day of the year.
Imogen-Lee Ann Downs was born December 19, 2017 to Courtney Hyland and Luke Downs.
She greeted older sister Chelsie-May Rose Downs, who is 10 months old.
Imogen-Lee was 47.5cm long and weighed 2675 grams on arrival.
She was named after Courtney’s (who is originally from Mudgee) mother’s middle name Lee and Luke’s mother’s middle name Ann.
The Turner-Peisley family will have their hands full, after they welcomed brothers Jaxon and Rylan on December 20, 2017.
Rylan Neil Turner-Peisley was born at 1:24pm and Jaxon Robert Turner-Peisley at 1:22pm.
Jaxon weighed 2470 grams and Rylan 2680 grams at birth.
The proud parents are Aimee Turner and Ricky Peisley, both Goulburn locals.
The twins were preceded by three siblings: Makaylah (12), Thomas (8), and Bohdi (18 months).
Finally, baby girl Hannah May Slater was born on December 19, 2017.
Hannah is the first child for her parents, Heather McCartney of Goulburn and Michael Slater of Goulburn (formerly of Redground).
She weighed in at 3490 grams, and was 50cm long at birth.
Hannah’s grandparents, Katherine and Tony McCartney of Green Pigeon and Kay and Steve Slater of Redground, Crookwell, also shared in the extremely proud moment.
