Students from Goulburn’s three Catholic schools have gathered at Ss Peter and Paul Cathedral for a service of blessing for the year.

More than 800 students from Trinity College, St Joseph’s Primary and Ss Peter and Paul’s Primary attended the service.
Staff and families from each school also filled the cathedral.
Leading the gathering were school captains Thomas Walker and Gemma Hart (Trinity), Jackson Schultz and Ava Cain (St Joseph’s) and James Campbell and Zara Maple Brown (Ss Peter and Paul’s).
They were joined by their respective principals Gaye McManus (Trinity), Sue-Ellen Nell (St Joseph’s) and Kathy Neely (Ss Peter and Paul’s).
Goulburn Mission parish priest Father Dermid McDermott and assistant Father Lolesio celebrated the special school Mass.
In his homily, Fr Dermid talked about the importance of kindness and how acts of kindness would be always be rewarded in some way.
