Guest speakers will include Office of Environment and Heritage ecologist Kylie Madden (on glossy black cockatoos), OEH botanist Rob Armstrong (on rare and threatened plants of the area), and NPWS ranger Audrey Kutzner (on the Bungonia koala population).
Following the talks and light refreshments, there will be a flora and bird discovery walk (noon-1pm). Participants are asked to wear sturdy shoes and bring a bottle of water if joining the walk.
Bungonia Wildlife Wonders is on Sunday, February 25 at the Bungonia Community Hall on King Street.
Registration opens at 10am for a 10.30am start. Entry is by donation to the Bungonia Park Trust.
