Dedicating the month of June for wool, the exhibition showcases spun and dyed skeins of wool, scarves, beanies, felted hats and brooches, baby and children’s clothing.
Individual pieces utilise the colour, versatility and warmth of wool.
“In addition to Wonders of Wool, the gallery is hosting a World Wide Knit (or crochet) in Public Event on Saturday June 9. The gallery is hoping people will come along with their project, chat and enjoy the company of other like-minded people while sipping on hot chocolates! ,” said publicity officer Carolyn Greig.
“There will also be members willing to teach the crafts. With the weather predicting a wet and cold day, it will no doubt prove to be a popular event.”
