And of course, you might just find something truly special for yourself at this event.
There’s going to be a lot of really interesting items on display and one of them might just be something stunning that you simply have to take home!
Art on the range
Eagerly awaited, every two years the Crookwell District Art Gallery holds the region’s premier art exhibition, Art on the range.
This event is being held over the weekend of Saturday and Sunday, November 10 and 11.
The opening night is on Friday November 9, 5.30-7.30pm. Everyone is invited.
The show attracts works from a wide range of highly talented and acclaimed local, regional and nationally acclaimed artists.
Many of our entrants are locals from the Upper Lachlan Shire.
But you can expect also to see many works from artists based outside the Shire, including Goulburn, Yass, NSW South Coast, Wagga Wagga, Canberra, Sydney and beyond.
Artists also have a chance to win great prizes for works in various categories.
Fabulous paintings, photography and sculptures are offered for sale.
Crookwell sits atop the Great Dividing Range at an altitude of around 980 metres which gave the name for this wonderful event.
This year the event also coincides with the Crookwell Garden Festival.
So while you are in Crookwell for Art on the range, be sure to seize the opportunity to see some of our nation’s finest cool climate gardens at their best.
