A film written by an Australian teenager for the nationwide youth film festival will be shown in Goulburn, with locals invited to submit their own works to be aired beforehand.

Bilched, a coming-of-age comedy, was created by Sydney teenager and aspiring writer, Hal Cumpston.
The film will tour across regional Australia.
The title Bilched is a slang for a “life changing adventure that defies logic." The film is a humorous look at life in the final days of high school.
The production follows anti-hero, Hal, on his mishap laden journey at an ultimate end of school house party, after which it becomes obvious Hal needs to stop cruising through life, face his fears and follow his heart.
Hal says the film is irreverent, funny and relatable.
“Hopefully it's the perfect antidote to the Australian film industry’s preoccupation with earnest adult drama," Hal said.
The Sydney teenager also confesses he started writing because he had finished high school and felt unproductive.
"I felt like a bit of a dropkick and wanted to do something productive," he said.
Hal disappeared into his room with the idea to pen a 10-minute comedic short film and emerged 10 sleep deprived days later with an 88-page script.
Successful short film submissions will be shown in Goulburn and the best will be eligible for wider distribution and cash prizes.
