One of RDA Southern Inland's key roles is one of facilitation and working with all levels of government, business and community groups to support the development of regional Australia. Over the past few months, we have been busy doing just this.

We have coordinated and chaired multiple meetings with Upper Lachlan Council and a number of the local wind farms who are collaborating to run regular tours to meet the growing interest of the public. Currently, Gullen Range Wind Farm hosts six tours a year but are regularly inundated with further requests for private tours. The ultimate goal will be for at least one tour a month to be available to the public across a number of local wind farms.
We have also met twice with a range of stakeholders to plan the next Agriculture Day event in November, which will be the region's inaugural Agriculture Gala Dinner. Currently on the Steering Committee is RDA Southern Inland, Tablelands and Monaro Farming Systems, Department of Primary Industries, South East LLS, Goulburn Post and NSW Farmers. We recently received the good news that we were successful in securing funding from Coordinare for the event.
Finally, RDA Southern Inland staff are on the Steering Committee for the Australian Agricultural Centre, which has just secured a site in Crookwell. Again, we are working closely with a number of groups to help support this fantastic initiative that will help to promote agriculture and educate our next generation of farmers.
It's been busy at RDA Southern Inland, but it's not hard to feel positive and excited with so many great initiatives occurring across regional NSW.
