The donation has been made by Aviagen company to BDCU Goulburn Hospital Fundraising Inc, which conducts local fundraising events to purchase equipment for the Goulburn Base Hospital.
"We are looking at purchasing more equipment for the hospital. When business communities donate money, it tells us that we are doing the right thing for the community," Nerida Cullen, BDCU Goulburn Fundraising Inc President said.
Meanwhile, Aviagen General Manager Michael Leahy stated that the company believes in contributing to the local community.
"As a company, we care about the people in the communities where we work and live. We hope that our contributions help to make a difference in the lives of those in our local community," he said.
