Susie is a television celebrity, radio broadcaster and author. She has been described as "a genuine multi-media broadcaster" and one of the most versatile, informed and professional person in Australian media today.
On television, in addition to hosting her own national daily variety and lifestyle show, Susie, and co-hosting Daily with Susie and Bianca, her extensive television career includes eight years alongside Bert Newton as a presenter of Good Morning Australia, seven years with Larry Emdur and Kylie Gillies on The Morning Show as well as being a longstanding panellist on Beauty and the Beast with Stan Zemanic and a regular contributer to News Now, Studio Ten, Hinch, Postcard Australia, First at Five and Newsworld. Susie is regularly on radio and was voted Most Dynamic Author in 2006. Taralga Rodeo has been held since 1959 to celebrate Australia Day.
Christmas celebrations
More than 50 members of the Garden Club had a merry meeting at their end of year party and AGM in early December.
Members sung happy birthday to 99-year-young Joan Fitzgibbon before Vivian Smith took the chair for the election of officers.

The next meeting of the club will be on the second Thursday in February. The overnight trip will be in September.
Farewell Reverend Sallyanne
Around 70 attended the lunch which was held at the Jameson Hall on December 7 to bid farewell to popular Anglican Minister, Reverend Sallyanne Hart who has now retired.
The Reverend Sallyanne has spent the last six years in Taralga and there is no replacement at the moment. She will be sadly missed. Ken Fleming spoke on behalf of the Anglican congregation while Sandra Keith and Margaret McGregor spoke on behalf of the Presbyterians and the Catholics.
