Meanwhile, our executive council have been meeting via Zoom and in July will debate a number of motions that have been submitted by branches from around NSW.
A link to the list of these motions was sent to members in a recent Farm Post Online.
Members are encouraged to comment on these to their executive councillors or regional services manager.
Region 11 EC members are Alix Turner, Gary Grant and John Rolfe.
Local woolgrowers were saddened to hear of the recent passing of Robert Peden, principal of Bullamalita Merino Stud.
Robert was well-known for his prizewinning show fleeces.
We wish to extend condolences to his wife Maree and family.
NSW Farmers Goulburn branch members congratulate member Phil Broadhead and retired woolbroker Ray Morony on achieving 50 years continuous woolclasser registration status.
Well done Phil and Ray.
Local farmers need to be aware of various potential stock health issues during winter and if unsure what to do please contact our local LLS vet or visit the SE LLS website for advice.
Unfortunately, COVID is still a threat in both our rural and urban communities.
As with many other businesses and organisations, our hardworking staff have been working remotely.
Our thanks to all of them.
Meanwhile stay well and pay attention to your mental resilience and keep in touch safely with others in your family and community.
For more information contact www.nswfarmers.org.au or regional services manager Dave Banham on 0428 411 221.
