The weather was perfect, just like the students.
Goulburn Public School relieving assistant principal Linda McDade said all the students had an opportunity to enjoy the novelty events on offer.
"There were land and water activities that had everyone excited and involved," Ms McDade said.
"The participation and inclusion of all students throughout the day ensured a successful outcome for our first event of the year.
"The cheering and support from each of our sporting houses were impressive as our house captains led their teams with chanting and clapping."
Twelve competitors competed in the racing competitors and some managed to qualify for the district swimming carnival on February 26.
Ms McDade was pleased with the effort put in by the students.
"I would like to congratulate all of them for giving it their best and doing their sport houses proud."
