The Warrigal Auxiliary has happily regrouped for 2021 after the unwelcome break due to COVID-19.
President Wendy Crisp opened the most recent meeting, welcoming everyone back. We look forward to a productive year.
The Auxiliary will continue to work with a positive outlook, facing some restrictions for fundraising, but given the past support, we will able to do so.
A 'Winter Warmer' stall is being held on Friday, June 11 from 10am at Warrigal Aged Care Facility at 7 St Aubyn Road. There will be a lovely range of all sorts of knitted wear and gifts, and beautiful handmade goodies can be purchased for winter.
As this will be the first fundraiser in a year, it is hoped we will be well patronised. The revenue will enable the Auxiliary to fund further social activities, special day gifts and equipment for Warrigal residents.
The residents enjoyed receiving Christmas and Mothers Day gifts.
The knitting group is once again meeting on a Tuesday afternoon. Thank you to the coffee girls for your support.
All members are happy to be back. Numbers are dwindling, so we gladly welcome new folk.
Meetings are held at Warrigal on the first Tuesday of every month at 1.30pm.
