The Goulburn Evening Branch of the Country Women's Association (CWA) has turned 21 this year.
Celebrations will take place in February, but this has not dampened the enthusiasm of members who look forward to a big 2022.
At their recent AGM, members elected office bearers and welcomed the Branch's first patron, Enid Rose.
Ms Rose, first associated with the CWA in her childhood, is proud to take on the role and looks forward to providing ongoing support and raising awareness of the CWA Branch's community, fundraising and other activities.
As well as 21st birthday celebrations, the Goulburn Evening Branch looks forward to its meetings held over dinner on the fourth Monday of each month throughout the year, at which the members learn about matters affecting rural life locally and internationally, including social issues and women's advocacy as well as the more well-known activities of cookery and handicrafts.
But relax, tea and scones are still on!!!
Visit CWA at the Goulburn Show in 2022 when the Evening Branch will again be providing the popular tea room experience of scones with jam and cream, served with a smile.
